Eryped 400 Usage: Erythromycin is an antibiotic used to treat wide variety of bacterial infections.
How to use Eryped 400: this medication may be taken with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Shake liquid well before using. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine at youre body is kept at constant level. Do this by taking pill in evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. Continue to take this drug until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a some days. Stopping medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of infection.
Eryped 400 side effects: can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or stomach cramps the first some days as you're body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop symptoms about jaundice as such: dark urine, clay-colored stools, yellowing of eyes or skin. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. Use of this medication since prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection) If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Eryped 400 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: liver disease/jaundice, any allergies. Caution is advised when this tablet is used at infants. Though very unlikely to happen, stomach problem called IHPS (infantile hypertrophic pyloric stenosis) has been noted. Contact your child's doctor immediately if the children has persistent vomiting or increased irritability. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Small amounts about med do appear at breast milk, so consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Eryped 400 drug interactions: Tell your physician of every drugs you may use, (prescription & nonprescription) especially of the following: carbamazepine, cyclosporine, theophylline, certain benzodiazepines (e.g., midazolam, triazolam), warfarin, felodipine (a calcium channel blocker), cisapride, birth control pills, corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), digoxin, ergotamine-containing medications, sildenafil, certain live vaccines, disopyramide, phenytoin, other antibiotics, certain drugs used to treat high cholesterol (e.g., lovastatin). other drugs besides erythromycin which may affect the heart rhythm (QTc prolongation in the EKG) include dofetilide, pimozide, quinidine, sotalol, procainamide, & sparfloxacin among others. QTc prolongation can infrequently result at serious, rarely fatal, irregular heartbeats. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist for details. Ask for instructions about whether you need to stop any another QTc-prolonging drugs you may be using in order to minimize the risk about this effect. this tablet may interfere with effectiveness of birth control tablets. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Eryped 400 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include stomach cramping, nausea, vomiting, & diarrhea.
Eryped 400 special notes: this drug has been prescribed for youre current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to someone else. different medication may be necessary.
If you missed Eryped 400 dose: If you should miss dose, take this as soon as remembered unless this is almost clock since next dose. If It's nearly time for the next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose.
Eryped 400 Storage: Refrigerate. do not freeze. money expiration date of you're prescription & discard any unused portion after that date or after your physician tells you to stop taking it.
