How to use Coldamine: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase you're dose or take this more often than directed. this tablet is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack. Long-acting tablets & capsules must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or long action may be destroyed and chance of side effects increased.

Coldamine side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. Coldamine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, quick breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

Coldamine special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Coldamine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Coldamine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
