Tussin V Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & another respiratory illnesses.

How to use Tussin V: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this drug is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Tussin V side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first some days as you're body adjusts to the pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your doctor. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Tussin V Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Tussin V special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Tussin V dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Tussin V Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at the bathroom.
