Medifirst Cold Relief Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination med is used to treat a cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Medifirst Cold Relief: this medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Swallow long acting pills and capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased. Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Medifirst Cold Relief side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Medifirst Cold Relief Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this med. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Medifirst Cold Relief Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements about eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or quick heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Medifirst Cold Relief special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Medifirst Cold Relief dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Medifirst Cold Relief Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
