Liquid Tears Usage: this pill is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.
How to use Liquid Tears: Use this drug at the eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. for drops, place the dropper directly over the eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. watch downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at corner of the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the medication from draining away from eye. for ointment, hold tube directly over eye and gently squeeze small ribbon of the ointment into eye. Slowly roll your eye at every directions to spread the ointment. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Liquid Tears side effects: this medication may temporarily sting your eyes when 1st applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome or the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within some days, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily unstable for a few minutes after applying this. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Liquid Tears Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell youre doctor if you are pregnant before using it med. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult your physician before you breast-feed.
Liquid Tears drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, especially of: other eye med. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Liquid Tears Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Liquid Tears special notes: some products contain preservatives which can cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss the various products with your health care professional.
If you missed Liquid Tears dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use this if It's near the clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Liquid Tears Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
