    Phenylephrine/shark liver oil/mineral oil/petrolatum - topical

    (fen-il-eff-rin/shark liver oil/mineral oil/pet-ro-lat-um)

    Simular Drugs : Hemorrhoidal, Hemorrhoidal, Hemorrhoidal HC, Hemorrhoidal Ointment

    Hemorrhoidal Usage: it combination medication is used to temporarily shrink hemorrhoids and to relieve itching, burning, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids.

    How to use Hemorrhoidal: Before using, clean the affected area by gently patting with cleaning tissue. Dry area by gently patting with a piece about dry tissue or clean cloth. Remove the protective cover from applicator tip, attach the applicator tip to med tube, and lubricate the applicator tip. Gently insert applicator tip in to rectum and apply a very small amount of this med up to 4 times daily; or as directed by your healthcare professional. Apply some medication to the external area around rectum as well. After each use, clean the applicator tip well & replace protective cover. Inform your pharmacist if your condition does not improve in 7 days.

    Hemorrhoidal side effects: No side effects expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify you're physician promptly. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop using this drug & consult your pharmacist or pharmacist immediately: bleeding from the rectum, increased pain (after inserting the applicator tip). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Hemorrhoidal Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially about: heart disease, hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, prostate problems (enlarged prostate), any allergies. Tell you're healthcare professional if you pregnant before using it medication. it is not known if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Hemorrhoidal drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially: high blood pressure medicine, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), SSRI antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.

    Hemorrhoidal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Hemorrhoidal special notes: for rectal and/or external use only.

    If you missed Hemorrhoidal dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If this is near time of following dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Hemorrhoidal Storage: Store at room temperature less than 80 degrees F (27 degrees C).
