Cold Allergy Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Cold Allergy: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Cold Allergy side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.
Cold Allergy Precautions: Tell some your doctor you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to a child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
Cold Allergy drug interactions: Tell some your physician what medications you take, especially about: HBP drugs, anti-seizure medications, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain med, other cold or allergy drug. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Cold Allergy Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Cold Allergy special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Cold Allergy dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
