Zone Forte Usage: Pramoxine is topical anesthetic used on the skin to relieve minor pain, itching and discomfort. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation & itching. this combination medication is used in treatment of certain skin conditions such as eczema, rash, abrasions, insect bites or minor burns.
How to use Zone Forte: this pill is for use on skin only. To apply, clean and dry affected area as directed. Apply little to skin region & rub in gently. Cover with a bandage if told to do so. Wash hands thoroughly after use. don't use large amounts or use this more often than prescribed since the chance since side effects may be increased. Avoid contact with eyes. Use sparingly on child or elderly persons since they may be more sensitive to the effects of this medication when used in larger amounts. don't bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor.
Zone a Forte side effects: this drug may cause temporary redness or minor irritation when 1st applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse inform your physician. Notify your physician if you develop swelling, itching or rash where the med is applied. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.
Zone a Forte Precautions: Tell your pharmacist some your medical history, especially of: blood disorders, infections, liver disease, allergies. Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children and for those who have used this since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of it drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if it medication is found in breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Zone Forte drug interactions: Tell some your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: any skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Zone Forte Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Zone a Forte special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, notify your healthcare professional. Inform every your healthcare professionals you use (or have used) this medication. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Zone Forte dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use this if It's near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Zone a Forte Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. cash expiration date on tube & discard any expired medication.
