Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin Usage: it medication is used to treat eye infections.

How to use Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin: for best effects, this drug must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping it medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in a reinfection. Apply eye ointment to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1-st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tube tip or let this touch your eye. Rolling the ointment tube in your hands since a minute will make ointment flow easier. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into pouch by squeezing tube gently. Close the eye and roll the eyeball at every directions to spread medication. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. Wipe the tip of ointment tube with tissue to remove excess drug before capping this. If you using an eye drop in addition to this medication, apply the eye drops 1'st & wait at least five minutes before applying it eye ointment. If you are using another type of eye ointment, wait at least ten minutes after using this drug before applying it.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for a minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician immediately if you develop: rash, itching or burning eyes, redness/pain or swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin Precautions: Tell your physician youre medical history, especially of: all eye problems, any allergies you may have. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it is not known if this eye drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your doctor.

If you missed Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use it if this is near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Neomycin Bacitracin Polymyxin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. money the expiration date on the tube and discard any expired med.
