    Eye lubricant - ophthalmic

    Isopto Tears Usage: it drug is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.

    How to use Isopto Tears: Use it med in eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of the ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. for drops, place the dropper directly over the eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward and gently close your eye since 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at corner of eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent drug from draining away from eye. for ointment, hold the tube directly over eye & gently squeeze small ribbon about the ointment into the eye. Slowly roll your eye in every directions to spread the ointment. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

    Isopto Tears side effects: this medication may temporarily sting your eyes when 1st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome or the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve within several days, inform some your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily unstable for some minutes after applying this. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: a skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Isopto Tears Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your physician if you pregnant before using this medication. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult youre pharmacist before you breast-feed.

    Isopto Tears medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, especially about: other eye drug. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Isopto Tears Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Isopto Tears special notes: some products contain preservatives which can cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various goods with your health care professional.

    If you missed Isopto Tears dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use it if It's near clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Isopto Tears Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard this if solution isn't clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
