Gfn Dm Pse Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses a cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. it combination med is used to treat a cough and relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Gfn Dm Pse: this medication is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack. Swallow long acting pills and capsules whole. do not crush or chew them because long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased. Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed.
Gfn Dm Pse side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform youre physician. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Gfn Dm Pse Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional some your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any drug allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Gfn Dm Pse drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially: medication for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this tablet. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Gfn Dm Pse Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of the eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or quick heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, large pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Gfn Dm Pse special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Gfn Dm Pse dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
Gfn Dm Pse Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store at bathroom.
