Cold Cough DM Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. How to use Cold Cough DM: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting pills must be swallowed whole with a full glass about water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased. liquid suspension form of this med must be shaken well before using.

Cold Cough DM side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1st some days as some your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop any of following effects while using this med: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you missed Cold Cough DM dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Cold Cough DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
