    Pramoxine/hydrocortisone - lotion

    (pram-ox-een with hi-dro-kor-tih-sown)

    common brand names: Pramosone, Zone-A

    Zone Usage: Pramoxine is a topical anesthetic used on skin to relieve minor pain, itching & discomfort. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and itching. this combination med is used in the treatment of certain skin conditions such as eczema, rash, abrasions, insect bites or minor burns.

    How to use Zone a: this medication is for use on skin only. To apply, clean & dry the affected area as directed. Apply a very small amount to the skin area & rub at gently. Cover with a bandage if told to do so. Wash hands thoroughly after use. don't use large amounts or use it more often than prescribed since chance since side effects may be increased. Avoid contact with the eyes. Use sparingly on child or elderly persons for they may be more sensitive to effects of this tablet when used in larger amounts. do not bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you are instructed to do so by your healthcare professional.

    Zone a side effects: this medication can cause temporary redness or minor irritation when first applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you develop swelling, itching or a rash where medication is applied. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.

    Zone Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: blood disorders, infections, liver disease, allergies. Though very unlikely, it is possible this drug will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & for those who have used this since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about it drug. Consult your doctor or healthcare professional for more details. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. it isnt known if this drug is found in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Zone a drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: any skin products. don't start or stop any medicine with out physician or doctor approval.

    Zone a Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Zone special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, notify some your doctor. Inform every your physicians you use (or have used) it pill. don't share it medication with others.

    If you missed Zone dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not use this if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Zone a Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. money the expiration date on tube & discard any expired pill.
