Methenamine/methylene blue/benzoic/phenyl sal/atropine/hyoscyamine

common brand names: Dolsed, Prosed/DS, Uretron, Uridon, Urised
Warning: kid and teenagers should not use aspirin, aspirin- containing or aspirin-related drugs since flu symptoms or chickenpox without first consulting doctor. rare but serious illness known as Reye's syndrome may occur.
Uriseptic Usage: it medication contains anti-infective, pain reliever, & antispasmodic ingredients. It's used to treat urinary tract infections & helps to relieve pain, burning, urinary urgency & frequency & other associated symptoms.
How to use Uriseptic: Take it medication as directed at evenly spaced interval around clock. Continue taking it for the full time prescribed even if symptoms disappear. Stopping therapy too early may result in ineffective treatment & can lead to re-infection. Take each dose with full glass about water & drink plenty of fluids while taking it.
Uriseptic side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, & nervousness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. this drug causes urine and, possibly, stools to turn blue-green in color. do not be alarmed. it effect is temporary and will disappear when the drug is stopped. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, fever, eye pain, painful urination, mental confusion, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Uriseptic Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this pill may cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with some your doctor. Its not known if it medication appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Uriseptic drug interactions: Tell youre physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you use, especially of: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sulfa antibiotics. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Uriseptic Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: fast heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures, slowed or shallow breathing.
Uriseptic special notes: do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Uriseptic dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Uriseptic Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
