Thiamine HCL Usage: Thiamine, vitamin B1, is necessary to prevent or treat stomach, heart or nerve problems caused by thiamine deficiency.
How to use Thiamine HCL: Take this drug as directed. It's usually taken three times a day with meals. Follow any special dietary recommendations made by your pharmacist or nutritionist while taking this tablet.
Thiamine HCL side effects: this drug may cause itching, sweating, feeling of warmth, nausea, weakness, or restlessness. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to it medication. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. Notify youre doctor if you experience: shortness about breath, tightness about throat. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Thiamine HCL Precautions: If you have had a bad reaction (skin reaction, difficulty swallowing, or difficulty breathing) to thiamine in past, tell some your doctor. Except in doses greater than recommended, thiamine is considered safe for use during pregnancy & while breast-feeding.
Thiamine HCL drug interactions: Tell you're physician of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: medications used for muscle relaxation during surgery. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
Thiamine HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Thiamine HCL special notes: Thiamine is common in foods such as dry beans, whole wheat flour, seeds and nuts, brewer's yeast, enriched and fortified grains and cereals, liver, kidney & pork. Eat more about these foods to increase the amount about thiamine in your diet.
If you missed Thiamine HCL dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible but not if It's almost time for the next dose. If It's time since the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your regular schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.
Thiamine HCL Storage: Store at room temperature & keep away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. don't freeze the liquid forms.
