    Phenylephrine/shark liver oil/mineral oil/petrolatum - topical

    (fen-il-eff-rin/shark liver oil/mineral oil/pet-ro-lat-um)

    common brand names: Formulation R, Hemorrhoidal, Preparation H, Prompt Relief, Rectacaine

    Simular Drugs : Hemorrhoid, Hemorrhoidal, Hemorrhoidal, Hemorrhoidal HC, Hemorrhoidal Ointment

    Hemorrhoid Usage: this combination pill is used to temporarily shrink hemorrhoids and to relieve the itching, burning, and discomfort caused by hemorrhoids.

    How to use Hemorrhoid: Before using, clean affected region by gently patting with cleaning tissue. Dry the area by gently patting with piece of dry tissue or clean cloth. Remove the protective cover from applicator tip, attach applicator tip to tablet tube, and lubricate applicator tip. Gently insert applicator tip in to the rectum and apply a small amount of this drug up to 4 times daily; or as directed by your healthcare professional. Apply several tablet to the external area around the rectum as well. After each use, clean the applicator tip well and replace protective cover. Inform your pharmacist if youre condition does not improve in 7 days.

    Hemorrhoid side effects: No side effects expected to occur. If side effects occur, notify youre physician promptly. If you notice any of next unlikely but very serious side effects, stop using this med and consult youre pharmacist or pharmacist immediately: bleeding from the rectum, increased pain (after inserting applicator tip). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

    Hemorrhoid Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: heart disease, HBP, thyroid disease, diabetes, prostate problems (enlarged prostate), any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this med. this is not known if this drug passes in to breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Hemorrhoid drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of all prescription and nonprescription med you may use, especially: high blood pressure medicine, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), SSRI antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline). do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Hemorrhoid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Hemorrhoid special notes: since rectal and/or external use only.

    If you missed Hemorrhoid dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near time about the following dose, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Hemorrhoid Storage: Store at room temperature less then 80 degrees F (27 degrees C).
