Cold Cough Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan suppresses a cough. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination tablet is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Cold Cough: this pill is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Swallow long acting tablets & capsules whole. don't crush or chew them because the long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased. Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed.
Cold Cough side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, dry mouth or nervousness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, painful or difficult urination, tremors, extreme nervousness, trouble sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Cold Cough Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, any med allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Cold Cough drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all prescription & nonprescription medications you use, especially: drug for blood pressure, MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, furazolidone, moclobemide, linezolid, procarbazine, selegiline), sibutramine, narcotic pain medicines (e.g., codeine, morphine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it med. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Cold Cough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of coordination, unusual movements of eyes, slow or shallow breathing, unconsciousness, slurred speech, change in behavior, convulsions, unusual slow or quick heartbeat, chest pain, increased thirst, fatigue, muscle weakness, headache, fever, chills, big pupils, anxiety, sweating, or tremors.
Cold Cough special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Cold Cough dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near the clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Cold Cough Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at bathroom.
