    Methenamine/methylene blue/benzoic/phenyl sal/atropine/hyoscyamine

    (meth-en-uh-meen/meth-ih-leen blue/ben-zoh-ick/feen-ill sal-iss- uh-late/at-trow-peen/hi-oh-sye-uh-meen)

    common brand names: Dolsed, Prosed/DS, Uretron, Uridon, Urised

    Warning: kid & teenagers should not use aspirin, aspirin- containing or aspirin-related pills since flu symptoms or chickenpox with-out first consulting doctor. rare but serious illness known as Reye's syndrome may occur.

    Urised Usage: this medication contains anti-infective, pain reliever, & antispasmodic ingredients. it is used to treat urinary tract infections & helps to relieve pain, burning, urinary urgency and frequency and another associated symptoms.

    How to use Urised: Take this medication as directed at evenly spaced interval around the clock. Continue taking it for full clock prescribed even if symptoms disappear. Stopping therapy too early may result in ineffective treatment & can lead to re-infection. Take each dose with full glass of water & drink plenty about fluids while taking this.

    Urised side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, loss about appetite, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, & nervousness may occur. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. it drug causes urine and, possibly, stools to turn blue-green in color. don't be alarmed. it effect is temporary and will disappear when the drug is stopped. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, fever, eye pain, painful urination, mental confusion, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Urised Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this medication may cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with youre doctor. Its not known if this medication appears in breast milk. Consult some your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Urised drug interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, especially of: blood pressure tablets, antidepressants, sulfa antibiotics. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or physician approval.

    Urised Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: quick heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures, slowed or shallow breathing.

    Urised special notes: don't share this medication with others.

    If you missed Urised dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Urised Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
