Acetaminophen/isometheptene/dichloralphenazone - oral

Amidrine Usage: this medication is used to relieve migraine & tension headaches.
How to use Amidrine: Take this med exactly as prescribed. do not increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. since migraine headaches, take two capsules at the 1st sign of an attack. then take one capsule every hour as needed until the headache is relieved. do not take more than 5 capsules in 12 hour period. in tension headaches, usually no more than 8 capsules day are recommended. do not exceed maximum dose prescribed. this medication contains acetaminophen. do not take more acetaminophen than recommended (see Side Effects section).
Amidrine side effects: Dizziness may occur as your body adjusts to tablet. If this effect continues or becomes bothersome, inform some your pharmacist. If you do not have liver problems, the adult maximum dose of acetaminophen is four grams daily (4000 milligrams). If you take more than the maximum daily amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell some your doctor immediately if you have any of following symptoms about liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or physician.
Amidrine Precautions: Tell youre physician if you have: heart disease, glaucoma, kidney disease, liver disease, hypertension, allergies (especially med allergies). it product contains acetaminophen. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage. daily use about alcohol, especially when combined with acetaminophen, may increase youre risk for liver damage. check with some your doctor or pharmacist for more information. it tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of it drug found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Amidrine drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take or have recently taken, including: antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Acetaminophen is an ingredient at many about nonprescription products and at some combination prescription medications. Read labels carefully before taking other pain relievers, fever reducers, or cold products to look if they also contain acetaminophen. Consult your pharmacist if you uncertain if your other prescription or nonprescription products contain acetaminophen. (Also look maximum daily dose information in Side Effects section). do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Amidrine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe nausea, vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, stomach pain, dark urine, extreme fatigue, headache, agitation, low body temperature, rapid & shallow breathing, unusually rapid or slow heartbeat, & unresponsiveness.
Amidrine special notes: Use caution while driving or doing tasks requiring alertness as this drug may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Notify your doctor if it med fails to relieve your headaches.
If you missed Amidrine dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Amidrine Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
