Liquid Antacid W Simethicone Usage: it is an antacid that works in stomach to neutralize and reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess about stomach acid; and to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.

How to use Liquid Antacid W Simethicone: Take this drug as prescribed. Taking too much an antacid can reverse effects and more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take the antacid as frequently as every 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable meds must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by a full glass about water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. don't take any other med within 1 to 2 hours of taking an antacid. since antacids coat stomach, they can prevent another medications from being absorbed properly if taken at same clock.

Liquid Antacid W Simethicone side effects: it pill can cause nausea, loss about appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your pharmacist. Notify you're physician if you notice black, tarry stools while taking this drug. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Liquid Antacid W Simethicone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea & vomiting, loss of appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss about consciousness.

Liquid Antacid W Simethicone special notes: Refrigerating the liquid antacids may improve taste. do not freeze. If you dislike taste about one antacid, talk to you're physician or physician of switching to a similar product. liquid antacid forms work faster and more effective than the other forms. However, chewable tablets may be more convenient.

If you missed Liquid Antacid W Simethicone dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost clock since the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Liquid Antacid W Simethicone Storage: Store meds, capsules & powdered forms at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms about this medication.
