Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever in a low-dose which suppresses cough. it combination med is used to treat a cough and symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Hydrocodone Guaifenesin: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. this drug is best taken with a full glass about water after meal or snack.

Hydrocodone Guaifenesin side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea or stomach upset may occur 1st several days as youre body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, mental confusion, hallucinations, breathing trouble. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.

Hydrocodone Guaifenesin Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, emotional problems, history of medication dependency, allergies (especially med allergies). Hydrocodone Guaifenesin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slowed breathing, drowsiness, deep sleep or loss about consciousness, cold and clammy skin, dry mouth, & slow pulse.

If you missed Hydrocodone Guaifenesin dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near the clock for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Hydrocodone Guaifenesin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
