Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn Usage: this is an antacid that works in stomach to neutralize & reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess of stomach acid; & to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.

How to use Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn: Take this medication as prescribed. Taking too much of an antacid can reverse the effects and more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take antacid as frequently as every 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by full glass of water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. do not take any other medication within 1 to two hours about taking an antacid. since antacids coat stomach, they can prevent other drugs from being absorbed properly if taken in the same time.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn side effects: this medication can cause nausea, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your physician. Notify your healthcare professional if you notice black, tarry stools while taking it drug. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially of: kidney problems.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn drug interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: tetracycline, ferrous sulfate (iron), drugs used for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, indomethacin), digoxin, isoniazid, pseudoephedrine, diazepam, methenamine, ketoconazole. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss about consciousness.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn special notes: Refrigerating liquid antacids may improve the taste. do not freeze. If you dislike the taste of one antacid, chat to youre doctor or pharmacist about switching to similar product. the liquid antacid forms work faster and more effective than other forms. However, chewable meds may be more convenient.

If you missed Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Liquid Antacid Plus Extra Strn Storage: Store meds, capsules and powdered forms in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about it medication.
