    Childrens Ibuprofen Usage: Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory med (NSAID), which relieves pain & swelling (inflammation). this is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this medication is also used to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches and pain due to the common cold or flu. this drug works by blocking enzyme in some your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, & fever. don't give this med to children younger than 2 years of age unless directed to do so by the doctor.

    How to use Childrens Ibuprofen: Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure out each dose carefully & take this medication by mouth with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking it drug. If stomach upset occurs while taking this drug, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. in children, the dosage is also based on weight. Read product instructions to find the appropriate dose for your child's weight, or consult physician or physician if you have questions. If repeat doses are needed, they are usually given 6 or 8 hours apart; or as directed by the physician. in certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before the full benefits of this drug take effect. If you use this medication for migraine headache, & the pain is not relieved or worsens after 1st dose, tell your doctor immediately. If you treating yourself or giving this medication to children for undiagnosed fever or pain, consult physician immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Childrens Ibuprofen side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, & dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare professional or healthcare professional promptly. Tell your physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell your physician immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, simple bruising or bleeding. Tell youre healthcare professional immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. this med may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. If you notice any about the following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult you're doctor or doctor immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. this tablet may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen & consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes and skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Childrens Ibuprofen Precautions: this drug should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult some your pharmacist or pharmacist if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this drug, tell your physician or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), hypertension, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in the nose (nasal polyps), history about an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. it drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. this medicine may cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol and tobacco, especially when combined with it medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Consult your physician or pharmacist for more information. this medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. this product can contain sugar. Caution is advised if you have diabetes. Ask you're healthcare professional or healthcare professional about the safe use of this product. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to side effects of the drug, especially stomach bleeding and kidney effects. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during the 1-st 6 months of pregnancy. it is not recommended since use during last 3 months of pregnancy due to potential for serious harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss risks & benefits with you're physician. this medication passes into breast milk. While there have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Childrens Ibuprofen drug interactions: Before using this tablet, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: alendronate, other meds for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, high blood pressure tablets (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, another NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). money all prescription and nonprescription medicine labels carefully since many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which are similar to this drug. If you also taking aspirin, as prescribed by your doctor for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages 81-325 mg per day), continue to take the aspirin and consult your pharmacist or healthcare professional before using ibuprofen. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Childrens Ibuprofen Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Childrens Ibuprofen special notes: do not share it medication with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your progress or bucks for side effects. Consult your healthcare professional since more details.

    If you missed Childrens Ibuprofen dose: If you are prescribed this drug on regular schedule (not just 'as needed') and you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If it is near clock of the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
