Solaquin Usage: this medication is used to temporarily fade dark skin spots such as freckles or 'age spots'.
How to use Solaquin: this drug is for use on the skin only. Use twice daily or as directed. Apply carefully if using on face. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. To use, apply a small amount of pill on skin to be treated. a thin layer is every that is needed. Rub in gently. do not use on irritated or broken skin. Avoid sun exposure & wear a sunscreen & protective clothing while outdoors. If no effect is noticed after 2 months about treatments, notify your healthcare professional.
Solaquin side effects: Notify your doctor if you develop any of the next symptoms: dry skin, burning, redness. Tell your doctor immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: a gradual blue-black darkening of the skin (ochronosis). in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.
Solaquin Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have any pre-existing conditions, such as: illness, infections, PABA sunscreen allergies, sulfite allergies (certain brands of it tablet contain sulfites). this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. Its not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.
Solaquin medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may use including any skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Solaquin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Solaquin special notes: don't share it medication with others.
If you missed Solaquin dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Solaquin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
