    Children's Ibu Drops Usage: Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pill (NSAID), which relieves pain and swelling (inflammation). it pill is used at children to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches and pain. this drug works by blocking enzyme in your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, and fever. do not give this medication to kid younger than six months about age unless directed to do so by the pharmacist.

    How to use Children's Ibu Drops: Shake the bottle well before each dose. Measure out each dose carefully with the dropper provided. Give this medication by mouth with food or immediately after meal as directed. Follow each dose with milk, juice, or formula. Keep the kid from lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking it drug. dosage is based on some your child's weight, medical condition, & response to therapy. Read product instructions to find the appropriate dose for you're child's weight, or consult the doctor or doctor if you have questions. If repeat doses are needed, they are usually given 6 or 8 hours apart; or as directed by physician. at certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to two weeks, taken regularly, before the full benefits of it drug take effect. If you are giving this medication to children for undiagnosed fever or pain, consult doctor immediately if symptoms don't improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.

    Children's Ibu Drops side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, & dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify the doctor or pharmacist promptly. Tell the doctor immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling about the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in ears (tinnitus). Tell doctor immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding. Tell physician immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. this drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. If you notice any of following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop giving ibuprofen and consult doctor or healthcare professional immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. it drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of next highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop giving ibuprofen and consult the doctor or pharmacist immediately: yellowing eyes & skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to this pill is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact the doctor or pharmacist.

    Children's Ibu Drops Precautions: this medication shouldnot be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult physician or doctor if your child has: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this drug, tell pharmacist or pharmacist your child's medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), high blood pressure, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in the nose (nasal polyps), history about an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. this drug may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Limit alcohol intake as this may intensify side effects of this drug. it drug may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen & wear protective clothing when outdoors. it product may contain sugar. Caution is advised if you have diabetes. Ask the doctor or doctor about the safe use of this product. Caution is advised when using it medication in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to side effects of drug, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during first six months of pregnancy. It's not recommended for use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to potential for serious fetal harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're healthcare professional. this medication passes in to breast milk. While their have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Children's Ibu Drops drug interactions: Before using it drug, tell doctor or physician about all prescription & nonprescription products your child may use, especially of: alendronate, other drugs for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, high blood pressure drugs (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, another NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). cash all prescription & nonprescription medicine labels carefully since many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which are similar to this drug. Ask the doctor or doctor about safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Children's Ibu Drops Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, or seizures.

    Children's Ibu Drops special notes: do not share this med with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed periodically to monitor your child's progress or check for side effects. Consult the healthcare professional for more details.

    If you missed Children's Ibu Drops dose: If you are prescribed this medication on a regular schedule (not just 'as needed') & you miss a dose, give it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.

    Children's Ibu Drops Storage: Store at room temperature according to product directions away from light & moisture. do not store in bathroom. Keep every medicines away from children & pets.
