Warning: children and teenagers should not use aspirin, aspirin- containing or aspirin-related meds for flu symptoms or chickenpox without first consulting a healthcare professional. rare but serious illness known as Reye's syndrome may occur.

Urin D S Usage: this med contains anti-infective, pain reliever, and antispasmodic ingredients. It's used to treat urinary tract infections and helps to relieve pain, burning, urinary urgency & frequency & other associated symptoms.

How to use Urin D S: Take this drug as directed at evenly spaced interval around the clock. Continue taking this for full time prescribed even if symptoms disappear. Stopping therapy too early may result in ineffective treatment and can lead to re-infection. Take each dose with a full glass of water & drink plenty of fluids while taking it.

Urin D S side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, & nervousness may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. this drug causes urine &, possibly, stools to turn blue-green in color. do not be alarmed. this effect is temporary & will disappear when the tablet is stopped. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, fever, eye pain, painful urination, mental confusion, skin rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or healthcare professional.

Urin D S Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, glaucoma, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this drug can cause drowsiness or blurred vision, use caution driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it is not known if this med appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Urin D S drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, especially about: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sulfa antibiotics. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or physician approval.

Urin D S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: fast heartbeat, dizziness, blurred vision, seizures, slowed or shallow breathing.

Urin D S special notes: do not share it medication with others.

If you missed Urin D S dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Urin D S Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
