    Dextromethorphan w/decongestant - oral

    Simular Drugs : Pediacare, Pediacare, Pediacare, Pediacare, Pediacare Cough Cold

    Pediacare Usage: Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. this combination med is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Pediacare: Take this medication as prescribed. do not increase youre dose or take it more often then directed. Capsule dose forms should be swallowed whole.

    Pediacare side effects: Mild dizziness, mild drowsiness, headache, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur 1'st several days as your body adjusts to the pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify you're physician if you develop chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, tremors, extreme nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Pediacare Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if you have: heart disease, hypertension, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, allergies (especially drug allergies). money it product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this medication found in breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Pediacare medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may use, including: blood pressure drugs, drugs used to reduce weight, heart medication, medication that prevents drowsiness, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not use this product together with an MAO inhibitor, or for two weeks after stopping MAO inhibitor drug. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Pediacare Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, hyperactivity, slow or shallow breathing, blurred vision, or unconsciousness.

    Pediacare special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Pediacare dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Pediacare Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
