    Decongestant/narcotic antitussive/antihistamine - oral

    Mintuss Ms Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. antihistamine is since relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Mintuss Ms: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more much times than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass of water after a meal or snack.

    Mintuss Ms side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur 1st several days as you're body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Mintuss Ms Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, hypertension, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of med dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy.     Mintuss Ms pill interactions: Tell you're doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Mintuss Ms Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

    Mintuss Ms special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Mintuss Ms dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Mintuss Ms Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
