    Guaifenesin with phenylephrine - oral

    (gweye-fen-eh-sin with fen-ill-eff-rin)

    Liquibid Pd Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Liquibid Pd: Take it drug by mouth. tablets must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. don't increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

    Liquibid Pd side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first few days as your body adjusts to tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify some your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Liquibid Pd Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history about seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risk and benefits with your doctor. It's not known if it drug appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Liquibid Pd drug interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, drug since hypertension. Tell your doctor if you have, in the last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or doctor approval.

    Liquibid Pd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness about fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.

    Liquibid Pd special notes: do not share it product with others.

    If you missed Liquibid Pd dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Liquibid Pd Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
