Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, tablet

Cold & Cough Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Cold & Cough: Take this med by mouth. it must be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew the drug. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase dose or take this more much of times or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Cold & Cough side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre physician. Notify youre doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this tablet may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Cold & Cough Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. it is not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Cold & Cough drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, medication for depression, med for HBP. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors at last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Cold & Cough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Cold & Cough dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Cold & Cough Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
