Combination antibiotic - ophthalmic ointment
Terak Usage: this medication is used to treat eye infections.
How to use Terak: for best effects, this tablet must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear the infection and could possibly result in reinfection. Apply eye ointment to the affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch tube tip or let it touch some your eye. Rolling ointment tube in your hands for minute will make the ointment flow easier. Tilt youre head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch about ointment into pouch by squeezing tube gently. Close eye and roll the eyeball in all directions to spread medication. Try not to blink & do not rub the eye. Wipe tip of ointment tube with a tissue to remove excess drug before capping it. If you are using an eye drop in addition to this drug, apply eye drops 1st & wait at least five minutes before applying this eye ointment. If you are using another type about eye ointment, wait in least ten minutes after using this drug before applying it.
Terak side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for minute or two when 1'st applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist immediately if you develop: rash, itching or burning eyes, redness/pain or swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Terak Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: every eye problems, any allergies you may have. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it is not known if this eye drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Terak medication interactions: Tell you're doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Terak Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Terak special notes: If condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, consult your doctor.
If you missed Terak dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if It's near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Terak Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. check the expiration date on the tube and discard any expired drug.
