Nalbuphine HCL Usage: this drug is narcotic pain reliever. it is used to treat moderate to severe pain & to boost the effects of anesthesia.
How to use Nalbuphine HCL: this medication is given by injection under the skin or into a vein or muscle by health care professional. How many & how often you use this is based on youre condition and response. Use it medication exactly as directed by your pharmacist. do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use it for longer period about time than prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period, don't suddenly stop using this drug without your doctor's approval. Over time, this drug may not work as well. Consult you're pharmacist if this medication isn't relieving pain sufficiently.
Nalbuphine HCL side effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, sweating, headache, nausea, restlessness, itching, vomiting, dry mouth or constipation may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre physician. Very unlikely to occur but report: depression, confusion, mood changes, hallucinations, trouble breathing, blurred vision. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or physician.
Nalbuphine HCL Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: heart problems, liver problems, kidney problems, lung diseases, brain disorders, a history of drug dependence, drug allergies. Limit use of alcohol while using this drug. Use caution driving or performing task requiring alertness as it medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness. this drug should be used with caution in elderly persons. Use about nalbuphine in children under 18 years about age isn't recommended. Tell youre doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication. Nalbuphine is not recommended since prolonged use or in high doses at end of pregnancy. it is not known is nalbuphine is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Nalbuphine HCL drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist or pharmacist about all other drugs you take (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: another narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine, morphine), sedatives, tranquilizers, drugs used as sleep aids, anti-anxiety drugs, barbiturates, drugs for seizures, psychiatric medicines, muscle relaxants, certain antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or pharmacist approval.
Nalbuphine HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include sleepiness, restlessness, and general discomfort.
