Liquibid D 1200 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Phenylephrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Liquibid D 1200: Take this med by mouth. tablets should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this med as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Liquibid D 1200 side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first few days as some your body adjusts to tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficult or painful urination, difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or doctor.
Liquibid D 1200 Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risk & benefits with some your doctor. it isn't known if this tablet appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Liquibid D 1200 medication interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, drug for HBP. Tell some your pharmacist if you have, in the last two weeks, taken any MAO inhibitors: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Liquibid D 1200 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, dizziness, blurred vision, unusually fast or slow heartbeat, numbness of fingers, vomiting, drowsiness, fatigue, or seizures.
Liquibid D 1200 special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Liquibid D 1200 dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Liquibid D 1200 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
