    Decongestant/antihistamine/anticholinergic - oral

    Drysec Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat & itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have drying effect on mucous secretions. this combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Drysec: Take it tablet as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more often than directed. it medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Long-acting pills & capsules should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or long action may be destroyed & chance of side effects increased.

    Drysec side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur first some days as your body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

    Drysec Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. cash it product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult some your physician promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. it pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of it medication found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Drysec drug interactions: Tell some your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: drug for blood pressure, medication for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your pharmacist if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety meds (e.g., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure pills (e.g., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake about alcoholic beverages while taking this tablet. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Drysec Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, quick breathing, fever, hot dry & flushed skin, seizures, or coma.

    Drysec special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

    If you missed Drysec dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Drysec Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
