Ergomar Usage: this drug is used to treat migraine & cluster headaches.
How to use Ergomar: Its best to use this medication at the first sign of headache. it will take longer to work if taken when headache has already become severe. After using this, lie down in quiet, dark room since an hour or two. Sublingual tablets to be placed under tongue to be dissolved. do not swallow these tablets or eat or drink while it is dissolving. the aerosol spray should be shaken well before each dose. Rinsing youre mouth out with water or gargling after taking a dose may help prevent hoarseness or throat irritation. Make sure you understand how often to use this medication & the maximum amount of medication that must be used. do not exceed recommended dosage. do not use daily on regular basis. Review you dosing instructions with your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Ergomar side effects: may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or stomach upset. These effects must disappear as you're body adjusts to medication. Notify your doctor if you experience: chest pain, irregular heartbeat, vomiting, muscle pain or numbness, pain or coldness in hands or feet. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Ergomar Precautions: Before using this med, tell you're doctor your medical history especially of: blood vessel problems, liver or kidney disease, severe itching, HBP, circulation problems, medication allergies. Avoid activities requiring alertness if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. Avoid alcohol while taking this drug as it may make your headache worse. it medication must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform some your pharmacist immediately. this medication is excreted in to breast milk & It's use isnot recommended while nursing. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Ergomar drug interactions: Infrequently, a very serious, life-threatening decrease in amount of blood supply to the hands & feet (peripheral ischemia) and rarely to the brain can occur when this drug is taken with drugs that affect liver metabolism (e.g., potent CYP 3A4 enzyme inhibitors). do not take this medication with macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, clarithromycin, troleandomycin), HIV protease inhibitors (e.g., retonavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, amprenavir, saquinavir), azole antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole). Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol), nitrates (e.g., isosorbide, nitroglycerin), nefazodone, fluconazole, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, zileuton, clotrimazole, other mild CYP 3A4 enzyme inhibitors. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this pill unless your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Ergomar Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea; diarrhea; vomiting; numbness, tingling, & bluish discoloration of fingers & toes; drowsiness; & seizures.
Ergomar special notes: do not share this drug with others.
If you missed Ergomar dose: If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule.
Ergomar Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
