Trionate Usage: this combination cough suppressant/antihistamine med is used to treat a cough due to the common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.
How to use Trionate: Take this medication by mouth usually twice per day as needed; or as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of clear fluids when you use this pill. fluid will help to loosen phlegm/mucus in your breathing passages.
Trionate side effects: Drowsiness, nausea, and dry mouth & throat may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. An allergic reaction to it drug is unlikely but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or doctor.
Trionate Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially about: HBP, heart problems, thyroid problems, glaucoma (narrow angle type), prostate problems, any allergies (especially to tartrazine or aspirin). this pill may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this medication at the elderly since they may be more sensitive to medication side effects. this med shouldnot be used in newborns. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. this tablet may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using it drug isn't recommended. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Trionate drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially: MAO inhibitors used within last two weeks (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Tell your pharmacist if you take any drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti- anxiety pills (e.g., diazepam, lorazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine, morphine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine or tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine, topiramate), muscle relaxants, certain other antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). cash the labels on every your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they can contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask youre physician about safe use of these products. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Trionate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, deep sleep, seizures.
Trionate special notes: do not share this pill with others.
If you missed Trionate dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time about the next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Trionate Storage: Store at room temperature between 68 & 77 degrees F (20 & 25 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
