Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the pill. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.
Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1st several days as youre body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. this is not known if this tablet appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, pill for depression, drug for HBP. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last 2 weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Gfn 595 Pse 48 Tab Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
