good Tussin DM Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. it combination med is used to treat a cough associated with common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use super Tussin DM: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase some your dose or take this more often then directed. Capsules & long-acting pills must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.

super Tussin DM side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop any about these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

great Tussin DM drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

great Tussin DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

good Tussin DM special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed super Tussin DM dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

great Tussin DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store at bathroom.
