Fleet Bisacodyl Usage: Bisacodyl is a laxative. the enema is used to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Fleet Bisacodyl: To use the enema, follow the instructions provided in package. Unwrap the enema. Lie on your left side with one knee bent up to some your chest. Insert enema tip into rectum pointing toward navel & gently squeeze bottle to release medication. Try to retain drug for as long as possible. Be sure to follow any special dietary restrictions given based on the type & timing of procedure being done.

Fleet Bisacodyl side effects: this medication may cause severe diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps, or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: rectal bleeding, a rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about enemas may lead to dependency. Liver damage has been reported with use of multiple bisacodyl enemas. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Fleet Bisacodyl Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart disease, bowel disease, allergies. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your pharmacist. Consult your pharmacist before using any drug while breast-feeding.

Fleet Bisacodyl pill interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Fleet Bisacodyl Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If you or someone you know may have taken this medicine by mouth, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Fleet Bisacodyl special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to 6 8 ounce glasses day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Fleet Bisacodyl dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Fleet Bisacodyl Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light.
