Acetaminophen/isometheptene/dichloralphenazone - oral

Iso Acetazone Usage: it medication is used to relieve migraine & tension headaches.

How to use Iso Acetazone: Take this tablet exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take it more much times than directed. since migraine headaches, take two capsules at the first sign of an attack. than take one capsule every hour as needed until headache is relieved. don't take more than three capsules in a 12 hour period. in tension headaches, usually no more than 8 capsules day are recommended. don't exceed maximum dose prescribed. it medication contains acetaminophen. do not take more acetaminophen than recommended (see Side Effects section).

Iso Acetazone side effects: Dizziness may occur as your body adjusts to the drug. If it effect continues or becomes bothersome, inform your physician. If you do not have liver problems, the adult maximum dose about acetaminophen is four grams daily (4000 milligrams). If you take more than maximum per day amount, it may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if you have any of the following symptoms about liver damage: severe nausea, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, stomach pain, extreme fatigue. An allergic reaction to it drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Iso Acetazone Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: heart disease, glaucoma, kidney disease, liver disease, hypertension, allergies (especially pill allergies). this product contains acetaminophen. Acetaminophen can cause liver damage. daily use about alcohol, especially when combined with acetaminophen, may increase your risk for liver damage. money with you're physician or pharmacist for more information. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Iso Acetazone drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take or have recently taken, including: antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Acetaminophen is an ingredient in many nonprescription products & in some combination prescription medications. Read the labels carefully before taking other pain relievers, fever reducers, or cold products to see if they also contain acetaminophen. Consult your pharmacist if you are uncertain if your other prescription or nonprescription products contain acetaminophen. (Also watch maximum daily dose information in Side Effects section). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Iso Acetazone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe nausea, vomiting, yellowing eyes or skin, stomach pain, dark urine, extreme fatigue, headache, agitation, low body temperature, rapid & shallow breathing, unusually rapid or slow heartbeat, & unresponsiveness.

Iso Acetazone special notes: Use caution while driving or doing tasks requiring alertness as this med may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Notify you're doctor if this medication fails to relieve youre headaches.

If you missed Iso Acetazone dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if Its near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Iso Acetazone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
