Hydrocodone HD Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Hydrocodone HD: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed. it drug is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Hydrocodone HD side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or physician.

Hydrocodone HD Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of tablet dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with some your physician. since small amounts about it medication found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Hydrocodone HD med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain pill (e.g., codeine). Limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

Hydrocodone HD Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Hydrocodone HD special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it tablet. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Hydrocodone HD dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Hydrocodone HD Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at bathroom.
