How to use Bisoprolol Fumarate: Take this medication exactly as prescribed. Try to take it at same times each day. do not suddenly stop taking this drug without consulting you're pharmacist. some conditions may become worse when the tablet is suddenly stopped.
Bisoprolol Fumarate side effects: You may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, and blurred vision as your body adjusts to the drug. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. Because beta-blockers may reduce blood circulation to extremities, your hands & feet may be cold. Dress warm. Inform youre doctor if you develop: easy bruising or bleeding, swollen hands or feet, confusion, depression, sore throat. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or physician.
Bisoprolol Fumarate Precautions: Before taking this pill, tell your doctor if you have history of: heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, any other lung disease, diabetes, overactive thyroid gland, any drug allergies. Before having surgery, tell the doctor or dentist in charge that you taking a beta-blocker. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. this medication is excreted in to breast milk & though no problems have been noted, possibility for adverse effects to the infant exists. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.
Bisoprolol Fumarate drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: diuretics, cold preparations & nasal decongestants, reserpine, other heart or hypertension tablets, St John's wort. don't start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Bisoprolol Fumarate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unusually fast or slow heartbeat, dizziness, slow or shallow breathing, seizures, unconsciousness, weakness, or fatigue.
Bisoprolol Fumarate special notes: your pharmacist may want you to take your pulse each day while you take this drug. Learn how to monitor you're pulse.
If you missed Bisoprolol Fumarate dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered but not if It's within 4 hours about following dose (8 hours for penbutolol, atenolol, nadolol). If it is, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Bisoprolol Fumarate Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
