Bismuth Maximum Strength Usage: this drug is used to treat indigestion, nausea, diarrhea; to relieve stomach cramps & to prevent traveler's diarrhea.

How to use Bismuth Maximum Strength: liquid form of this medication should be shaken well before pouring each dose. Chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly or dissolved in mouth. Non-chewable meds and caplets should be swallowed whole with glass of water. the dose may be repeated every 30 minutes to one hour as needed but no more than 8 doses should be taken in 24 hour period.

Bismuth Maximum Strength side effects: this drug is generally well tolerated. Stools may appear gray-black in color while taking it tablet. don't be alarmed. this will disappear when tablet is stopped. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Bismuth Maximum Strength Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: another illnesses, allergies (especially pill allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre doctor. since small amounts of this med are found in breast milk, consult your physician before breast-feeding.

Bismuth Maximum Strength Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include ringing in ears, dizziness, confusion, and coma.
