Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose & throat and itchy, watery eyes. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Pedia Cough Cold: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more much of of times than directed. Capsules & long-acting tablets should be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed and chance of side effects will be increased. liquid suspension form of this medication should be shaken well before using.
Pedia Cough Cold side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the first some days as your body adjusts to pill. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it medication. do not start or stop any medicine with-out physician or pharmacist approval.
Pedia Cough Cold Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, loss of coordination, slow or shallow breathing, sweating, dizziness, headache, hyperactivity, bizarre behavior, seizures, slow or fast heartbeat, or unconsciousness.
Pedia Cough Cold special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. this will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.
If you missed Pedia Cough Cold dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Pedia Cough Cold Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom.
