    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat cough associated with common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

    How to use Gfn 1200 Dm 60: Take this drug as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. Capsules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify youre pharmacist if you develop any of these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you feel dizzy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), any allergies. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 medication interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

    If you missed Gfn 1200 Dm 60 dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the clock for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Gfn 1200 Dm 60 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
