Urban D S Usage: this is an antacid that works at the stomach to neutralize & reduce acid. Antacids are used to treat an upset stomach caused by heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach; to treat peptic ulcer, hiatal hernia or other conditions caused by an excess of stomach acid; & to prevent ulcers or bleeding from ulcers.

How to use Urban D S: Take this medication as prescribed. Taking too many of an antacid can reverse effects and more acid will be secreted. in certain conditions, however, it may be necessary to take antacid as frequently as every 1 to 2 hours. To be effective, chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing followed by full glass about water. Shake liquid forms well before pouring each dose. don't take any another drug within 1 to 2 hours of taking an antacid. since antacids coat the stomach, they can prevent other meds from being absorbed properly if taken in the same time.

Urban D S side effects: it drug can cause nausea, loss of appetite, constipation or diarrhea, weakness, or headache. If these symptoms persist or become severe, notify your physician. Notify your physician if you notice black, tarry stools while taking this medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Urban D S Precautions: Tell you're doctor some your medical history, especially about: kidney problems.

Urban D S drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all prescription & nonprescription meds you may use, especially of: tetracycline, ferrous sulfate (iron), medications used for arthritis (e.g., aspirin, indomethacin), digoxin, isoniazid, pseudoephedrine, diazepam, methenamine, ketoconazole. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Urban D S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, fatigue, weakness, severe nausea & vomiting, loss of appetite, drowsiness, slow or shallow breathing, or loss of consciousness.

Urban D S special notes: Refrigerating liquid antacids may improve the taste. do not freeze. If you dislike taste about one antacid, speak to you're physician or pharmacist about switching to similar product. liquid antacid forms work faster & more effective than other forms. However, chewable pills may be more convenient.

If you missed Urban D S dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Urban D S Storage: Store tablets, capsules and powdered forms at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at the bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms about this medication.
