Robitussin Pe Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Robitussin Pe: Take it med by mouth as directed. don't increase the dose or take this more much times or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Robitussin Pe side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to the drug. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your physician. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Robitussin Pe Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because it drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. It's not known if this drug appears at breast milk; consult some your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Robitussin Pe tablet interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, tablet for depression, high blood pressure drugs. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in the last 2 weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with out physician or physician approval.
Robitussin Pe Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.
Robitussin Pe special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Robitussin Pe dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take if it is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Robitussin Pe Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
