Polycin B Usage: it tablet is used to treat eye infections.
How to use Polycin B: since best effects, this medication should be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this med too soon may not clear the infection and could possibly result in reinfection. Apply eye ointment to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch tube tip or let it touch your eye. Rolling the ointment tube in your hands for minute will make the ointment flow easier. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into pouch by squeezing tube gently. Close the eye & roll eyeball in every directions to spread the med. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. Wipe tip about ointment tube with a tissue to remove excess drug before capping it. If you are using an eye drop in addition to it medication, apply the eye drops 1'st and wait at least five minutes before applying this eye ointment. If you are using another type about eye ointment, wait at least ten minutes after using this medication before applying it.
Polycin B side effects: it medication may temporarily sting or burn your eyes since minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your physician. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for a period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your physician immediately if you develop: rash, itching or burning eyes, redness/pain or swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
Polycin B Precautions: Tell you're physician your medical history, especially about: all eye problems, any allergies you may have. it drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your doctor. it is not known if it eye tablet is excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Polycin B medication interactions: Tell youre physician about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Polycin B Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
