Drixoral Non Drowsy Usage: Pseudoephedrine is used to provide relief from nasal or sinus congestion caused by allergies or the common cold, or ear congestion caused by inflammation or infection.
How to use Drixoral Non Drowsy: it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication, unless you're healthcare professional instructs you to do otherwise. Sustained-release or long acting tablets & capsules must be swallowed whole. Chewing or crushing them will destroy long action & may increase side effects. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify you're healthcare professional. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended.
Drixoral Non Drowsy side effects: can cause dizziness, headache, fast or pounding heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, difficult or painful urination, sweating, nervousness, restlessness, or trouble sleeping. These effects should subside as youre body adjusts to tablet. If they persist, become severe or bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Drixoral Non Drowsy Precautions: Tell you're healthcare professional if you have: pre-existing heart problems, kidney or liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. Pseudoephedrine passes into breast milk & may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Using it medication while breast-feeding is not recommended.
Drixoral Non Drowsy drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, hypertension drugs. Tell your healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last 2 weeks. don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Drixoral Non Drowsy Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include irregular or unusually slow or rapid heartbeat, unusual nervousness or excitement, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, & seizures.
Drixoral Non Drowsy special notes: chat with some your doctor, pharmacist or nurse about diseases you have and medications you are already taking before using any new tablet.
If you missed Drixoral Non Drowsy dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered if within an hour. If you do not remember until later, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' doses.
Drixoral Non Drowsy Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
