    Antihistamines with decongestants - oral

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.

    How to use Phenclor Tannate Pediatric: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it drug, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your healthcare professional. do not increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify youre healthcare professional if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or physician.

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional youre medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. money this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to children younger then six years of age unless directed to do so by doctor.

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric drug interactions: Tell your doctor what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure meds, anti-seizure meds, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain med, other cold or allergy medication. don't take it medication if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last 2 weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    If you missed Phenclor Tannate Pediatric dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Phenclor Tannate Pediatric Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
